do you mean corrupts as in the file doesnt play ? or that the timing isnt perfect so bits of the next piece comes in etc, you should be able to edit out the extra stuff with sndedit or some other wav/ sound editor > Weirder thing is radio does not mute the radio if terminated abruptly.
