Yeah very much true....i am having 64 mb with rh 9.0 installed and using 
blackbox...its really smooth.
Some of the appications which require memory are Evolution, Mozilla and Openoffice.
I have replaced Evolution with sylpheed...(which is very much good on low memory.), 
Thinking of replacing mozilla with firebird..though mozilla is somewhat ok on 
blackbox....
