how long will it take for me to setup a gentoo machine which has most of the things a normal redhat pc has ? I certainly would love to try out my hand on gentoo. I was vary of taking a step because, i heard that gentoo does not release patches soon and the latest libraries. I dont know how true it is, please correct me if i am wrong.
