====It is running because it is receiving mail from the internet for our
domain.

====No. Outbound port is not blocked because I am sending mail to rest of
the planet. Have configured my local mail server for direct submission. Only
cannot connect to 66.150.206.161 on SMTP irrespective of domains hosted on
that server. Our hosting service provider also have their mail box on that
server and I cannot send them mail!

Had seen a similar problem with both SMTP & POP3. On a DSL line from BSNL
you cannot access VSNL-Kolkata mail boxes. Seems they have blocked access
from IP ranges DSL is using. Maybe something similar is done here. Don't
know who to catch hold off.

Thanks to all,

Still working on it,

Amitava
