I have checked /dev/input and mice,mouse0 and mouse1 all work.infact the
mouse series goes on till mouse5 or so.

ummmm...what is the debian way of recompiling?could you give me some
pointers or a linkI have looked all over google...and i havent manages to
find many other than one that asked me to make a .deb after doing a make
command and then install the .deb.is that the way u mean?
