sounds fairly good - and that's a quite comprehensive mess of patches, which make qmail somewhat modern, even.


so the single problem I see in its current state is that you *have* to pull the local recipients into a CDB so that qmail-smtpd can read it.. multiple cdbs if this is across a whole lot of clustered mailservers.

if qmail-smtpd could optionally read this out of whatever db the users are normally looked up from (say a mysql / postgres backend server) this would be a far better thing ...
