Hi Ritesh

If everything else fails, you can boot with win CD, do 'fixmbr' and 'fixboot' then try booting win98, after this you can boot with linux CD and install Grub again, try putting it in linux partition and then copy linux boot image with 'dd', also edit boot.ini in your 'C:' drive to enable dual booting.

For all the other good people of this forum, telling someone to "go look someplace else" really doesn't help anyone, after all we are supposed to be 'Open Community' and all the tech problem related in any way to Linux should be heard, and answered in a way that enriches the knowledge of everyone who uses this forum.

Can anyone enlighten me over this issue.

What if when you boot with a MS-DOS boot-disk. ?
As you say linux boots well, it has to do with windows.
