I used fetchmail to pull my email from the gmail account:
$ fetchmail -v
fetchmail: 6.2.5 querying pop.gmail.com (protocol POP3) at Fri 27 May
2005 01:51:36 PM IST: poll started
fetchmail: socket error while fetching from pop.gmail.com
fetchmail: 6.2.5 querying pop.gmail.com (protocol POP3) at Fri 27 May
2005 01:52:37 PM IST: poll completed
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: normal termination, status 2
My .fetchmailrc file contents are as follows :
set postmaster "ravi"
set bouncemail
poll pop.gmail.com proto pop3 auth ssh port 995 timeout 120
user [EMAIL PROTECTED] there with password xxxx is ravi here
Am I missing anything here?
