Nope. ACPI does not seem to bemy problem with Acer Travelmate4150. No difference with or without ACPI. It is just some specific drive or hardware issue in this particular model. I am afraid many Acer users ae going to be disappointed from Linux or Acer for such shoddy working of this particular laptop. Acer helpdesk as usual has no help or clue and they just can not admit that they got off a wrong machine in the market.
