[snipped...] Following is the output of xrandr. As you will see the whole problem is in line 1 the maximum resolution is 1024x1024. I don't know how to increase that. Both the monitors are working but all I see is cloned display. According to the intel website the 855GM is supported for dual head display by the i810 driver. Don't know what is wrong.
