I have IBM Pc 300gl 300 Mhz celeron 94 mb 4 gb + 3gb hdd OS win95. I have
Loaded the
Linux 6.1 Red hat on my pc. I am new to Linux Line i am facing some problem
& I need some info.
After a strugel i managed to Load Linux on my Pc with LILO.
/ hdb1 3900 linativ
hdb5 64 swap
/. hdb6 50 linative
While installing in GUI mode it went through upto Coping the files. After
copying the files it says Performing Post install Config Installing Package
& It get hang in this Stage I waited hole night. it was in same stage.
I started installing in Text mode it went through. It dected Gui Card
Cirrus
Logic G5465. At last stage it ask Do U want to Login with Gui, YES.
It restat in Text mode.
I need your help.
1 I want to config in GUI MODE How can i DO it Pl help.
2 How do i Shutdown the Linux right now i ma useing Clt+Alt+Del. I tried
all
the String which give in Man but not working Help Pl.
3 Can U Send Me some Basic Commands
4 Can i download Manuls for Beginners. Site address.
5 I want to config the VMware.
