I have problem related to NIS. Whenever I log onto my server as well as
some of NIS clients, I get the message:
YPBINDPROC_DOMAIN: Domain not bound
On one of the clients I have reinstalled the upgraded version of yptools
and ypbind, there this comment is not coming while logging on except some
time when I am on X-windows, but in this case when machine is rebooted,
while booting up it give the message:
binding to NIS domain......ypbind ypbind[214]: domain not set -aborting
But I have no other problem i.e. NIS is working o.k., I want to know
why these comments. Can anyone help me out.
