Hi Jean,

Thanks much for the prompt reply. Sorry for not
mentioning this in the earlier mail but yes.. I did
try to transfer IrObex packets after the failed IrComm
connection and they go through fine.. 

Kernel version that I am using is 2.2.17.
Unfortunately, I have not started the log on my
machine. Will do that and the pppd debug option and
let you know what the log shows.
