Works fine from Palm to Linux. I start a PPP connect
from the Prefs->Network panel of the Palm to my
desktop via IR. It establishes a connection and I am
able to browse via a Web browser on the Palm.

I am using esi.o. Yes, on checking the system shows
that the module is actually loaded. Once, when I got
this problem earlier, I removed(rmmod) and inserted
(insmod) the module again to make sure that the
problem was not related to the module. After this too
it gave the same PPP timeout on trying to establish a
connection from Palm to Linux.
Again, thanks for helping me out here. I really
appreciate all the efforts you are taking.
Thanks,
Nita.
