I have a siemens S25 and a toshiba laptop (portege 7020CT).
I can cu -l /dev/ircomm -s 9600 and can dial but it isn't
possible to use it with ppp i have used 2.3.7, 2.3.10 and
2.3.11 of the ppp package but still no connection. It simply
dials in connect ppp0 <--> ircomm and then dies after a minute
or so. It seems the pppd deamon is not aware of the mayby slow
interface of the irda0. Has any of you had a succesful connection
with ppp over your mobile phone? It there any information on this
subject around for some hints to look at? I have succesfully dialed
with my palm to my provider but never whit ppp over irda.
