ok - let me rephrase it.
(1) i don't have access to a POP or an IMAP server.
(2) i have a flat file mailbox on a solaris box.
(3) i don't have NFS access to the solaris box.
(4) my desktop is a laptop running linux.
(5) i can't get them to route email to the laptop (and even
if i could, i'm disconnected too much to make it practical)
(6) i want to read email on the laptop while disconnected.
hence, i'm looking for something (like fetchmail) that reads from a flat file
mailbox and pushes into an IMAP mailbox.
