A couple of day ago I asked about the Sony Vaio vs the Toshiba
Protege.

The consensus seems to be that the Sony is a better machine (smaller,
better erganomics, and the modem is a real modem, not a winmodem), but
Sony's support is terrible, so if the machine breaks, you're out of
luck.

CompUSA offers an extended on-site service for about $400 for laptops.
I'm looking into this possibiltiy.  Does anyone know of other
resellers that offer on-site service?
