I've decided I want a new laptop, as small as possible provided I can
still type on it (the libretto is out!). My first round of research
suggests two possibilites:
Sony Viao
Toshiba Protege
So I have three questions:
1. Will I have any trouble running Linux on either of these?
2. What do people think of these two?
3. Are there other models I should consider? What I want is
something as small and light as possible, with as much battery life as
possible. Computing power is irrelevent. A modem is a must. Screen
quality is of secondary importance. (I'll use it mostly to type, and
I know what I'm typing....)
