Yes.  Works perfectly on the IBM ThinkPad 380 (well, it does after you
install work-arounds for various quirks).

Every laptop is different, though.  And I do have a Windows partition on
mine (that's where the hibernation file is), though it has currently been
up (in Linux) since Sept 8th.
