ditto on my Vaio 505TR... saves to disk, then restores (of course, don't
expect pcmcia to work perfectly... you may need to shutdown, then restart
a couple services)... sound may also be a problem, depending on the
drivers... however, it should be easy enough to write a root script to do
the shutdown *before* the suspend, then restore after a suspend...
also note that sleep/hibernate/deep suspend will still draw power (albeit
at a slow rate)...
