Hello,
Well, here's the current status at this location. I have my dos/windows
partition mounted and a symbolic link in the dosemu subdirectory of my
home directory (not root) pointing to it. My hdimage line points to the
symbolic link and also to freedos, so that freedos will be drive d. When I
type dosemu in my user directory, dosemu comes up, the ver command says it
is running Windows 98 xxxx. Most of the dos commands work as they do in
native dos. However, I am unable to write to or remove files from hda1. A
bit of investigation showed that they are all owned by root, and I am not
allowed to change the ownership. Well, i don't want to run dosemu as root.
It's insecure enough already. So I'm going to sleep on this problem and
see if anything comes to me. Of course ideas from others would be welcome
also.
Thanks.
John
