You probably will not need the MS-DOS version on your Windows partition in order to run your application. Forget my entire post to the list and set up dosemu on your Linux file system (probably using the freedos packet). I suppose you have mounted hda to your Linux file system. If you cannot run programs on hda this may be due to the wrong options in the 'mount' command.
