Congratulations on your uptime, I remember haveing a feeling like that the
first time my server broke 100 days as well, it happened 101 days after
I installed NetWare on it, but that's another story:)

Why ipchains? that's a 2.1/2.2 thing, for 2.0.* use ipfwadm instead, it
can do essentially the same, and if you want it to do something it can't
you'll have to update your kernel and lose your nice uptime.
