I know _exactly_ what you mean ;o
I installed a linux box at one of my customer's sites to do mail and
squid for proxy. At 131 days it broke my heart to take it down to
install 2.2.3 and ipchains. But, I don't regret it and server is up
again... 34 days and counting

BTW, he has an NT server there too... asks me why it needs to be
rebooted every three or four days and the linux box doesn't ?

...errr, well?!?!?
