As I understand it, that isn't totally true. Basically if you want to
sell a ms operating system with more than one PC, you have to buy a
licence to sell it with all your PCs. Its none or all. And there are
very very very few dealers around that have opted for the "none" option.
They do exist (although AFAIK there is nowhere you can get a laptop
without paying mr. rich bastard gates for it), but they are not easy to
find.
