doing it. Their solution is almost always inferior, and yet everyone has
to use it. By makeing M$ products incompatible with everything else they
are making it nigh on impossible to change from M$ to anything else, or to
use a mixture. So a company buys a Winblows PC (and you try buying a
complete PC without windows - it nigh on impossible BECAUSE OF MICROSOFTS
LICENCING ARRANGEMENTS, not because that's what PC dealers want), and they
are stuck with windows for ever more since that's what the rest what the
rest of the companies network is running.

There are certain types of computer users for which linux isn't, and
probably never will be, appropriate. As with most other things, the
"best" choice depends on what you want it for. That's how it is, and
thats the only way its likely to stay.
