        When using Loadlin...
I think it's very important that you select the correct kernel image 
for your system.  For me   " bare.i "   works because my cdrom 
drive is connected directly to an IDE plug on the motherboard. 
When I use my box with the cdrom drive connecting to the 
SoundBlaster card, I have to use   " sbpcd.i " in Loadlin.
        ** I  LOVE  Loadlin because it is fast to boot with, and I won't        
                                corrupt the MBR as LiLo has...
