I tried to set the speed in my httpd script to 46000 and to 33600
and to 28800. Every time I got connected at 9600 according to the
connect-errors file. But if I wrote 57600 in the script, then connection
was established at 57600.

The transfer rate started first at about 30k/sec and reduced like a
backwards clock by 0.1k /sec (sometimes faster). When the speed reached
the magical limit of about 2.2k/sec it remained at that level or I
got a "stalled" message. At 57600 we start from 160k/sec and come down
real fast. Now the transfer speed is at 5.9k/sec and stalled.

But the connection seems to stay open. When I click the reload button,
the transfer speed sinks by 0.1k/sec and the "stalled" message reappears.
No change i file size. (2684 blocks)

Slightly confused...
