Get the RPMs and install the desired packages.  Make sure you read and
follow all the documentation carefully when setting up Internet services.

http://www.sendmail.org for stuff on sendmail.

I recommend using Qmail instead of sendmail as your MTA.  See
http://www.qmail.org for more information on that.  It might look hard to
install at first, but it actually isn't that hard.  Once you see the
sendmail configuration file, you might want to search for alternatives.

And not only are the config and setup problems, but sendmail takes lots more
horsepower from your machine to do something.  Qmail, and other
sendmail-alternatives, are sometimes much more efficient.
