I've done what you have told in your former message and now it works fine.
the only problem was that pop3d was not running on the machine. Now i can
fetch and send mail using Outlook98 on WinXX machines.
We connect to the Linux box by LAN.
My last question is: now that everything is running fine, I have to make
changes to DNS so that other machines know that the Linux box is the mail
server. But my boss is kind of itchy and I would like for a first step to
have 2 mail servers for our domain: the NT box and the Linux. Is this
configuration possible ?
We are connected to our ISP by a Netopia ISDN router that handles
Dial-on-Demand.
