Yeah, that's a croc! I owned a SupraMax modem for about 2 days. :-) I had
a ping time of like 400-500 ms and forget about online gaming with that! I
spoke with Diamond's tech support and they said that if I wanted a faster
modem, I'd need to return it and get a Supra Express V.90 modem. (which is
exactly what I did, and now I'm a little happier). I'd be totally satified
if their documentation included all the AT commands and S registers the
modem supported. Every US Robotics I ever bought came with a full manual
that described every AT command it supported...
Oh, and to get back on topic, The Diamond Supra Express external V.90 that I
have works wonderful in linux. don't have any complaints. Except for the
AT command listing...

Yes, Diamondmm's site did say that SupraMax uses my PC's processing power to
deliver fast Internet connections.
I checked it, and SupraMax uses _9_ drivers from Rockwell. I think it's
based on the Rockwell 11229-14 chipset, as modems based on this chipset are
not supported by BeOS.(those and Winmodems are the only modems that are not
supported by BeOS and the same can be said for linux, I guess)
So I think I'm stuck with Win95 for the time being. :(
