I have a file on the floppy that came with the modem that describes all the AT
commands. It's used by windoze during install, I guess.

Win95 said that DOS support was enabled when I first installed it. So I might be able
to use it under linux.

But, setserial /dev/ttyS2 says 'UART unknown', win95 says 'UART NS16650A'. Does this
mean that the UART is emulated?

I wanna thank everyone who has been so kind to answer my questions. That was a very
nice welcome to/from the linux community for a newbie like me. So thank you!

Otgonbayar.
