Hello Lawson,

Thank you for your reply!
Its looks like it cannot find my modem
I have some questions:

1.How can I find my modem?
2.How can I configure it working?
3.What should I do if some application crashed?
4.How can I check it by another dial up application?

The problem is I have Linux Red Hat 6.1 dedicated PC.
I know also that my modem is not Windows Modem that I had before (Logicode
56W-P-TI) I just swapped modems between this machine ( where Linux Red Hat
resides) and machine with Windows 98 (Rockwell SoftK56 PCI modem)

The question is how can I find my modem?
May be I should reinstall back Windows 98 to determine where is my modem and
then again install Linux?
