This may be a little off my own topic...
There has been mention of using the Win98 versions
of Quake/Quake II (and, I must assume GameSpy), under
Linux.
Am I safe to assume that this is done under WINE?
If not, then how.
If so, then how well does it handle hardware acceleration,
since 98 uses DirectX.
If I can get this stuff answered, I could be a lot closer
to chucking 98 than I thought.
