I havent noticed significant lag time using IP masq on a 56k connection.
my ping times havent dropped noticeably. I use it daily to play quake2
on the net with no drop in peformance. I have 4 machines connected to a
Linux box running ipv4, and even with other users accessing the internet
it functions more than adequately.
