Basically yes (although I thought it was 2032).  The problem will be when
the time overflows the size of a 32 bit integer, at which point it will
wrap.  The y2k problem is (almost) entirely caused by shoddy programming
and only taking notice of the last 2 digits of the date.  There are almost
definately badly written linux apps out there, but none of the ones I've
bothered to check have been.  HTH.
