I want to install the most basis Linux system. I am newbie to Linux and I
figure if I can install such a basic system and install all the other stuff
that I already have on my new system without that RPM stuff and similar that
makes Linux easy and windoze 95ish.
I want to bring my system up from nothing and work it up so what I actually
want to know is how do I install the system from stiffies and what distro
will be the best (not redhat please... I think it sucks.., too commercial...
they gonna turn Linux into windoze).
Can you also lead me to the howto of installling the system from stiffies
too.
