I need getting X to work under Debian 1.3. I was running Slackware 1.0's
X with no problems.
Running xf86config, I plugged in the same video card and monitor info as
before. When I issue startx, I get no error messages at all. I see the
gray screen with a movable mouse cursor but the server immediately shuts
down.
What gives?
