Hello All,

I'm totally new to the Linux and have it on my comp only for a week.
So after the first acquaintance with this OS I decided to configure
it for the dialup Internet access via my Internet provider though PPP

...unfortunately I haven't succeed :(

The main problem: I've read all the HOW-TOs on this topic, but still
can't understand, what to do if I don't have a fixed IP - it is assigned
automatically upon each connection.

In fact, all the info I have is DNS, address of the POP
server and a phone number...and, of course, my login and password :)

I've also tried using an EzPPP prog, but it's written in its
documentation, that there're problems with Netscape Navigator - and
this is the application I was going to use (maybe someone can advise
something else, worth using ? coz my favorite browser Opera
and mailer TheBAT! aren't yet adepted to the Linux).

So, could someone, please, just shortly describe, what and where
should I write/add/change to configure the PPP and dialup ?

P.S. I use RedHat 5.2.

P.P.S. And the last question, is there any automatic dialer or can
I somehow configure the standard tools for using several phone
numbers? I have some problems with my local area phone station, so
the ability to use at least several numbers (I have about 40) is
vital for me.

Best regards,
   Loki
