I, too, am having a problem with PPP connection.

This is what /var/log/messages show:
Mar 20 18:02:50 hostname pppd[153]: pppd 2.2.0 started by root, uid 0
Mar 20 18:02:50 hostname pppd[153]: Using interface ppp0
Mar 20 18:02:50 hostname pppd[153]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS1
Mar 20 18:03:22 hostname pppd[153]: Connection terminated
Mar 20 18:03:22 hostname pppd[153]: Exit

It seems something is wrong with /dev/ttyS1 (com2). How do it correct it?
