Other way around. You can share your Linux box (file shares & printers)
using Samba, you can access a Windows box using smbfs (part of the
kernel) to mount SMB filesystems on your Linux box and you can use
smbclient (comes with samba) which you can use like FTP to "ftp" to a
network share _or_ a printer share.

Nope, just run dhcpcd from the command line & add it to your boot
scripts.

I believe exchange does smtp (though Bill & Co have undoubtedly added
some proprietary "features") so you should be OK.

StarOffice is great, only it is a huge pig. My PII266 with 64MB RAM is
untolerably slow. My 12 processor Sun Enterprise 4000 runs it pretty
well over my 100Mb full duplex link. ;-) StarOffice = 128MB RAM minimum.
