dial isp

throw me the life line
i have loaded redhat 6.0 and hear my modem connect to my isp's tnt
terminal command ifup ppp0. i cant get any farther. i use minicom and
get to terminal and ping server but it wont let me do anything .think
passward ans verification is not sent.
in ppp0 i check route and get the following:
destination 127.0.0.0
gateway *
genmask 255.0.0.0
flags u
metric 0
ref 0
use 0
iface lo
this looks like i have looped back my own system
what did i do wrong  tnx lew
