Looking over what you sent, my guess is that you don't have the Win95 host
configured correctly ... specifically, yhat you don't have the IP address of
your "home" Linux host (172.16.1.1) listed in the Control
Panel/Network/TCP/IP->Dial-Up Adapter/Properties/DNS Configuration dialog
box. If this is correct, you aren't seeing any errors on the Linux host
because the DNS queries from the Win95 host are never getting to the Linux
host for resolution.

Hope this helps. If not ... sorry I guessed wrong.
