Hi,

I opened up a file called ftpd and found this....

/etc/logrotate.d/ftpd

/var/log/xferlog {
     # ftpd doesn't handle SIGHUP properly
     nocompress
}

I don't think that this is what it should be.... so, does anyone know how
to fix this?

Thanks
Jim

I could not find anything about "ftp, ftpd or in.ftpd" in any of the logs
And /etc/hosts.deny is empty.
