My printcap man page (Debian 2.1 - the LPRng package) has two lists of
options -- one alpha, the second ordered by function. In the second, I found
an entry for the "fq" boolean, defined as "print a form feed when closed". I
haven't used this option myself, but you might try adding "fq=true" to the
printcap entry.
