I think you are correct.. I remember locking up in KDE. After KDE locked
up, I reinstalled RH6.0 and
selected the option to NOT have "x" start on boot up. I have been entering
xstart from a command prompt
to starrt x. The video card was working fine under NT 4.0. I question
whether the terminal setting is ok.
I'm running the video card at 800x600 with a low refresh rate. Actually I
have a Number Nine Power Storm 3D
card.
