I have a KX-1123 which I also had some trouble setting up under printtool
3.27. It took me awhile but I eventually found that I had everything
necessary, I had only one setting set incorrectly. I have forgotten
which. RH 6.0 uses printtool 3.40. I am not sure of the differences, but
I would suggest taking a long look at the choices presented in the
printtool to see if something easily missed is not set incorrectly.
This is my /etc/printcap if it may be of some help:
# Please don't edit this file directly unless you know what you are doing!
# Be warned that the control-panel printtool requires a very strict format!
# Look at the printcap(5) man page for more info.
#
# This file can be edited with the printtool in the control-panel.
