Linux on a Mac

Forgive me if someone already posted the info here, but I was trying, I
believe www.linux64k.org (or something like that, I had it right when I
tried it), but the site seems to be down.  I got an old Mac Quadra 605,
and I wanted to fiddle with it to install Linux.  Any suggestions on where
to look to find software and info on setups?  Thanks.
