"So close"
I tried a few different things. I took the modem out. Tried
reconfiguring X. Tried mouseconfig.
Ran linuxconfg and told the system that there was no modem. It had
detected on and put it in com 2. Mouseconfig still won't work. X still
won't start.
I get "Fatal server error cannot open mouse"
and I am returned to the prompt.
When I bought this machine Linux was already installed. However: nothing
was configured.
I wonder if I should reinstall if nothing else maybe I would get a
better understanding of what's going on. But then on the other hand Why
reinvent the wheel. What do you guys think?
