Hi all,
I use pppd 2.3.5 on kernel 2.2.13 and RedHat 5.2.
I use the following command to connect to my ISP:
/usr/sbin/pppd connect '/usr/sbin/chat -v ABORT BUSY "" ATZ OK AT%X3 OK
ATDT*phone#* CONNECT "" sername: *username* ssword: *password*' -d
-detach &
I usually can connect but get the following message:
Mar 23 13:30:05 localhost kernel: tty_io.c: process 569 (pppd) used
obsolete /dev/cua0 - update software to use /dev/ttyS0
I don't think the pppd I use (2.3.5) is obsolete since I got it with
kernel 2.2.13.
What should I update then ?
I have connection problems these days and I wonder if it could be
related with this.
Thanks for your help,
